Studio Chromelody

Have you ever heard of a Chromeleon playing video games? Now, you have (see the picture)! We are Studio Chromelody, a small indie studio from the south-west of Germany.
Our history goes back to 2021 where Evgin and Jonas met during a students project where they worked with a team of roughly 15 people on a hack'n'slash game. We worked on several more projects together and decided in 2023 that we want to make a full version out of the first game. We took part in the Developer Boost 2024 by the MFG in which we learned a lot about the game industry and in August 2024 we then finally founded Studio Chromelody.
With our games and and tools we aim to make gaming more accessible for everyone. Not only does that mean that we implement accessibility features as good as possible into our games and make tools to improve those features, but also that we try to make our games in a way that you don't need expensive hardware. Furthermore, we intend to give a voice to everyone. In our stories we explore complex characters from divers backgrounds, with diverse wants and needs.
For our games we use the Godot Game Engine, due to its lightweight design and, its ease of use and its connection to Open Source. We also contribute to the engine ourselves. Currently, by creating games, plugins and extensions, but we also intend to contribute to the source code in the future.
If you want to know more about us and for business enquiries send us a message to contact@chromelody.com!
